🐔 Chick-fil-A Style Sauce (No egg, soy, wheat, nightshades, avocado)
Vitamix Version (best texture, closest flavor)
Ingredients
- 1/3 cup aquafaba (liquid from canned chickpeas)
- 3/4 cup light olive oil (or refined olive oil for neutral taste)
- 1 tbsp Dijon mustard (check clean label)
- 1 1/2 tbsp honey (or maple syrup)
- 1 tbsp molasses
- 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp onion powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/8 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp liquid smoke
⚡ Vitamix method (this matters for texture)
- Add in this order:
- aquafaba
- vinegar
- mustard
- honey + molasses
- spices + liquid smoke
- Blend on low for ~10 seconds.
- Switch to medium speed.
- Slowly drizzle in olive oil through the lid plug.
- Increase to medium-high for 15–20 seconds until thick and creamy.
- Chill 30–60 minutes to fully set.
🧠 Why this version works best
- Aquafaba = egg replacement emulsifier
- Olive oil = neutral fat base (no avocado flavor)
- Molasses + liquid smoke = BBQ depth (key Chick-fil-A note)
- Honey + mustard = signature sweetness/tang
❄️ Texture tip
If it ever feels slightly thin:
